For over 40 years, scientific facts and studies have borne witness to everything on our planet that contributes to global warming. 2024 was the warmest year since weather records began. Glacier melting, devastating forest fires, species extinction and rising CO2 emissions speak for themselves.
Young generations have fears and many concerns about what the future will look like on our planet. In their list of demands, FridaysForFuture have formulated, among other things, a training offensive for future professions. To this end, libraries can proactively organize information series and offer events.
One week before the federal elections in Germany, "Libraries4Future" and the ForFuture movements are calling for the next climate strike.
Form local groups with other libraries in your city, municipality, district or county. Paint protest signs with the L4F logo, write key statements from the L4F principles on them and go protest! Send us your photos of the demonstration!
